Dear 4th grade Parents and Students,
I hope you are all doing well, as well as staying safe and healthy. I really miss everyone and would much prefer to be in the classroom with my wonderful class. In the meantime, you will find Emergency Education Learning Resources (EELRs) attached. This weekly plan includes options and resources to help support your student in the areas of academic, social-emotional and physical health. My hope is to keep your student engaged, maintain learning, and reduce regression during the school closure. I will attach a similar lesson plan each week and am available, through email, to answer any questions and/or concerns about this or any home learning you are doing. Please note that work will not be scored or graded. Seesaw is a great resource to use for communication. Please feel free to have students upload their work weekly or just say hi – this can be a video or a picture. Seesaw can be accessed through Clever. Students can also share their writing if they type it in in their Office 365 word accounts. I will be uploading videos (reading aloud and just saying hi - weekly). Please don’t judge my camera presence – I was definitely not made to be a news reporter, youtube star or actress – I have such admiration for the students’ videos now! Students can access and respond to these in our activities section in Seesaw. Mrs. Stempson, our fabulous librarian, also has uploaded a wonderful video on Seesaw to share with you. A reminder of my website: https://mswarnersfourthgrade.weebly.com/ We will get through this! Ms. Warner
