Hi 4th grade families -
I hope you are all staying healthy and hanging in there! This is the final week of Emergency Educational Learning Resources (EELRs) as we transition to Essential New Learning (ENLs) after spring break. I am very excited to begin teaching new concepts and will be working hard to find ways to engage and accommodate all students. I will be mailing the math module workbooks for the remainder of the year to students tomorrow. To practice and prepare for remote teaching and at home learning, I would like students to complete the “Must Do” activities by Friday, April 10. I want to make sure that students are able to access and have a good comfort level of the programs where they will receive instruction, obtain assignments and turn in assignments. Supplemental activities are located in the “Can Do” and “Extension” sections. In addition to the Week 3 resources, I have also attached a parent letter about Seesaw features and a calendar for Earth Day. Our next Zoom session is scheduled for Thursday, April 9 at 1:00 p.m. Look for an email with the link, password, Zoom norms, and instructions for a game we will play. Please email me anytime with feedback, questions, and/or concerns. Thanks for your support at home! Ms. Warner P.S. Students: Thank you for completing the Friday fraction review question last week! The answer was: 2 full containers and 2/8 of a third container.
